cathm Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Hi! I am wondering what's the best way to retouch this baby's skin. Thank you in advance for your help.
Damien Symonds Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Oh gee Cath, your file is untagged. Did you save it using Save As, or Save for web?
cathm Posted February 22, 2016 Author Posted February 22, 2016 I saved it as save for web. Will try again! Hope it works this time!
Damien Symonds Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 No, it's still untagged. You mustn't have the "Embed Color Profile" box checked.
cathm Posted February 22, 2016 Author Posted February 22, 2016 I do not have it checked when i saved as web.
Damien Symonds Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 I know you don't! That's a MASSIVE problem.
cathm Posted February 22, 2016 Author Posted February 22, 2016 How about Professive and Optimized? I have Optimized and convert to sRGB checked
Damien Symonds Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Don't worry about either Progressive or Optimized. Convert to sRGB is good, but of course shouldn't be necessary, because your files should already be sRGB.
Damien Symonds Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 "Convert to sRGB" and "Embed Color Profile" must be checked, always.
cathm Posted February 22, 2016 Author Posted February 22, 2016 Trying again.. hope it works this time!
Damien Symonds Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Try Dust & Scratches filter at 15/5 and see what you think.
cathm Posted February 22, 2016 Author Posted February 22, 2016 It blurs the skin but the red spots are everywhere....
Damien Symonds Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Essentially, the D&S filter is a way of shortcutting the first part of this method. Now you can do the second part - the Hue/Saturation layer.
