Moire Nightmare

Have read the Moire article. Any suggestions on a channel mixer combo to help fix this? Or any other things I could try? This shirt is covered in it! Thanks so much Damien.

No, this is not a channel mixer fix, unfortunately.

Did you shoot raw?

Yes Damien.  And the Moire looks much worse on my end than what it shows in this crop.

Good.  Then you need to start the edit again, and make sure that NO sharpening is applied to the file, ANYWHERE in the workflow.

Once you've re-edited it, show me the new 100% crop.

No it doesn't.  It's exactly the same.  Make sure you only judge moire at 100% view.

Kicking myself - didn't realise I'd added a bit of sharpening for their proof.  All sharpening removed. It's better - but still there.

Ok.

Then I'm afraid you'll need to apply just enough Gaussian Blur to get rid of the problem, masked carefully to the shirt.

Ok.   I will give that a go and let you know the results.  It's a shocking shirt!! (and yes ... my fault for not 'mentioning' what 'not' to wear). Thanks Damien.
