EB Photography
Hi Damien This image is SOOR (thank you for your advice!). Could I have some advice on how to remove the awful shadows on the backdrop please? Thank you!!
Damien Symonds
Hi Emma, don't try to fix it, just replace it. https://www.damiensymonds.net/preventing-banding-in-backdrops/ Eg this: Download the PSD file
EB Photography
WOW! What you did is PERFECT!! I have spent about 2 hours giving it a go and it is quite hard! I will keep playing with the sliders and try to master it. One question though, I watched your "gradient Layers" video inside the link you provided above for preventing banding in backdrops. I didn't understand how you completely hide the layer mask on the gradient fill 1 (at 7min 37 sec), in order to do the masking on the image as a whole and not just the selection. May you share how you do this please? Thank you
Damien Symonds
Either Cmd Delete or Option Delete, depending on which colour is the foreground colour in your toolbar.
