EB Photography
Hi Damien. Can you please advise how to reduce or remove the harsh shadow on the mum please? (I have asked about the backdrop previously, so it's just for the shadows on her please). Thanks so much. Emma
Damien Symonds
First things first, have you assessed the problem, and ascertained how you'd prevent it from ever happening again?
EB Photography
Yes, I moved my flash for another shot and didn't move it back :-( Studio lighting is another issue I struggle with, there are no camera shops where I live to research different options/results, so it's trial and error from FB pages and forums. It won't happen again!
Damien Symonds
Ok. The one on her cheek looks the hardest. May I see a 100% crop of that area?
EB Photography
Sure. Thanks Damien
EB Photography
I was wondering if the levels class would help with this kind of thing?
Damien Symonds
The Levels Class will rock your images in dozens of ways, but no, this is not a Levels Class thing.
Damien Symonds
Ok, yep, the face one will need to be this method. Now may I see a 100% crop from her neck?

Damien Symonds
I look forward to seeing how you go. Remember that this requires time and patience. Don't rush it. And be prepared to start over occasionally, if you mess up. It's not easy.
EB Photography
I've had a painstakingly go! I quite like the face, but I'm not convinced on the neck shadow. What do you think? Thank you Emma
Damien Symonds
Yeah, you have to keep going, so the edges of the shadows are completely soft.
