Brandicm
Is there a tutorial about what to do when PS and bridge are slowing. I have an iMac, 8 GB of memory and over 600GB of hard drive space. I have gone into PS and adjusted the preferences and deleted some of the history. If I try to have LR, PS and bridge open, it slows dramatically. It worked fine the other day. I have closed LR but bridge still hangs and PS will randomly hang when I try to use a tool. Is there a cache or something I need to delete? Damien Symonds
Are you aware of any system updates that have installed recently?
Brandicm
I have a Mac desktop running OS X Yosemite and Photoshop 2015. It is over 2 years old, and has 8GB of RAM. Its hard drive has 600GB free out of 2TGB. The last time I shut down was last night. I have never run a cleanup program. Photoshop did an update about a month ago. Damien Symonds
Just to check, have you opened a file that is a bit older (from a time when you know that everything was running smoothly) and see if the same problems are happening with that file now? Brandicm
I opened a few old files and did not have any problems. I also went back and opened the file I was working on the other day and it loaded fine. Before, it would hang in ACR or take a while to load in PS and then stall on the tools. This morning, it is working fine. I don't understand.
