Brian, your response has been helping me not go crazy. I was looking for SSD. I thought the above G-Drive was that till I sent the link to a friend, as she is looking as well. She said it is not SSD. Okay, I want 4-6TB SSD. I will be purchasing two. I will keep looking for those options. If you have a link to one you love, please share. How do I compensate you for your time?

I am looking at this one. I will purchase two of them if you like this.
-
I can go up in size. Is there a 4TB you recommend?
-
I have read through a lot of your recommendations for backup storage. Is this still a good one? Is there better ones? Not too concerned about the cost.

Thank you. The DisplayProfile is now working. I have no idea how or when it became functioning. Happy it works.

Hi Damien,
my prints at home matched the monitor well. I ordered some new test prints and they are great! I did follow your directions. Must have been a bad batch before. I did notify the company and they are willing to reprint. Appreciate the terrific instructions on calibrating!
-
Good point! I will check that. Currently I am in another state from my physical prints. When I look at them in photo shop they look good. I did check the files at the end of calibration on the screen, again, I thought they were good. I plan to follow your directions anyway.

Thank you! Why or how I did not see this is a mystery! I am beginning to get more photo shoot opportunities, so need to get back to editing. I value your knowledge and help!

I am using the above to calibrate two different monitors and different locations. I was getting great results with prints and the screen. However, the prints I recently received were washed out (poor saturation). I wanted to follow your instructions for the calibration process but could only find the instructions for SpyderXPro. Is there instructions for the SpyderXElite?
Thanks for your help!

That did it! Thanks. I am on my second read thorough the class. I am loving how much I am learning. I will be writing a review after this go through.

Yes. It was a mouse issue.

It appears to be a mouse issue. When using the trackpad it works fine. I will test more with it tonight after work. I will run a clean up program. Thank you!

OK, I am hoping that is the issue! I will try it first thing in the morning. Thank you.

No. Sorry! I will try that tomorrow. I meant to go back and do that.

I was just trying to upload photos to the premium member site and I clicked on one photo and it immediately uploaded before I could click on the other two. That is what I mean by "jumpy" It has a mind of its own!
-
I am noticing that the whole system is very sensitive and "jumpy". I know that is not a very good explanation but i don't know how else to say it. When working in a folder on an EHD, I will click on a file in the folder and it jumps to another folder. Very weird! I use a mouse. I am working on a monitor and not the laptop itself.

I have a PC laptop running Windows 10 and Photoshop cc2018. It is under 2 years old, and has 16GB of RAM. Its hard drive has 206GB free out of 371GB. The last time I shut down was just before posting this thread. I rarely run a cleanup program. For two days now when I preview photos in Bridge and click on the thumbnail, the photo immediately opens to raw. I have tried restarting several times. This happens even if I click on the JPG thumbnail and not just theCR2. I am not double clicking! I usually open by right clicking and choosing open in camera raw. This is so annoying and time consuming as i am not able to see the photo and check for focus etc. before it opens in CR2.

I was on another site where they were discussing that Bridge would be discontinued. Is this myth or a possibility?
-
Thanks for the info.

Sorry I forgot to paste this above. I have a PC laptop running windows 10 and Photoshop cs6. It is under 12 months old, and has 16GB of RAM. Its hard drive has 208GB free out of 451GB. The last time I shut down was earlier today. I have never run a cleanup program.

Opened Bridge Cs6 on a laptop that I do not use for editing. Just sorting and rating photos. The text and icons are so small I can not read them. I have not had this issue with my other laptop/monitor set up. I have tried going to preference>Interface> chaging the scale and nothing changes. Did a search and others have had this issue but there is not an answer that I found. Hope you have one.

Brian, I am so close to purchasing two of these. Good idea? I do travel out of State at least once a week so I am leaning to the SSD rather than the G-Drives.
