You pay more for having it pre-formatted for a Mac, which by the way, you can do yourself for free and it takes less than 5 min. Also the HD inside might be slightly different, but the main thing is the the partition and format for the Mac. Bottom Line: Save yourself the extra $30, buy the Windows edition and reformat it. There isn't anything special or magical, it's just the manufacturers know that the Mac Users are used to paying more, and are banking on this. Fun, eh?
