Cheri Moss Posted January 5, 2018 Share Posted January 5, 2018 I don't know if this happened with the 2018 update or if I changed a setting, but I need help. I am using Photoshop CC 2018 with a Wacom tablet on a Windows PC. I've always been able to use my pen and tap the tablet to deselect a selection. Now the only way I can do it is by pressing Ctrl D. Damien Symonds Posted January 5, 2018 Share Posted January 5, 2018 You'd need to check two things: 1. Can you still tap to deselect with other tools, such as the Marquee Tool? 2. Damien Symonds Posted January 6, 2018 Share Posted January 6, 2018 I'm not aware of any setting which controls that. It sounds more like a glitch to me. Cheri Moss Posted January 6, 2018 Author Share Posted January 6, 2018 Damien, I found it. It was something I totally missed. The add to button for selections was checked and I didn't realize it. Once I switched it to the normal selection, it works like it's suppose to. Just thought I'd let you know in case it ever happens to anyone else.
