Should I take the layers and mask class w/o Elements?

I have a Mac laptop running 10.13.4 and Lightroom Classic . It is over 2 years old, and has 16GB of RAM. Its hard drive has 296GB free out of 484GB. The last time I shut down was more than 24 hours ago. I run a cleanup program about once a month.

I use Lightroom as my primary editing programs. I’ve never used Elements. It seems unnecessary when I’m comfortable moving between LR and Photoshop. But I need help with Photoshop, and I’m interested in taking the Layers and Masks class  the class description appears to require Elements. 

Please advise.

No, the class is for either Photoshop or Elements.  Your Photoshop is fine.
