Jackie Matthews Posted April 29, 2016 Share Posted April 29, 2016 Someone has just asked a question on a fb group I follow and I'm wondering why you would use the ctrl + b for a colour balance adjustment, ctrl + l for a levels adjustment etc etc. I was told that these are destructive adjustments. Damien Symonds Posted April 29, 2016 Share Posted April 29, 2016 Correct. They apply the adjustments directly to the pixel layer. Very bad. What smart people do is go to Edit>Keyboard Shortcuts, and assign those shortcuts to add adjustment layers instead. Ctrl L to add a Levels adjustment layer, and so on.
