Damien Symonds
Oh, wonderful. Ok, go ahead and do your raw editing on these photos, then post them again for me.
StudioPopJess
I did already, I was going to use levels to lighten them.
Damien Symonds
Oh, no no no no no no no. That's VERY bad. You must do your raw processing properly.
Damien Symonds
Once your photo gets to Photoshop, the data is no longer high quality raw data, it's just plain ol' pixel data. Photoshop is suitable for minor brightness tweaks, but overall brightness MUST be corrected in raw where the data quality is so much more robust. StudioPopJess
Ok... what should I do then.. I've been adjusting everything In raw, and then lightening them in levels
Damien Symonds
This is grossly underexposured. You must crank that Exposure up in raw.

Damien Symonds
Are you sure your monitor calibration is ok? How long since you compared your screen to your pro lab prints?
StudioPopJess
I made it under exposed to have everything deep and rich and just lighten them.. OOPS

StudioPopJess
I probably need to do it again... I just did a update and it messed everything up.. Im just trying to deliver these as these are over due and Im scared and not sure what to do with them.. I'll find my calibrator and work on that asap... any way to address how to fix the green and purple glare? I wanted to spend more time moving them to adjust. but dad was frustrated and making me nervous so I just started snapping
Damien Symonds
We'll get to that, don't worry. I'm here for the next 13 hours. Check your calibration first and let me know how it looks.
StudioPopJess
I am having a hard time finding where I put it.. I did post to borrow one... I've tried googling how to cancel it out and can't figure out.
Damien Symonds
Never mind. For now, can you just compare some pro lab prints to their print files in Photoshop, to make sure your screen's brightness is EXACTLY correct?
StudioPopJess
I have it all the way down to the lowest to match a print

Damien Symonds
So that we don't get bogged down any longer, let's pretend this is ok, and press on with the glasses issue. But you have a BIG problem. PLEASE don't wait any longer to take the Raw Class, I beg you. Now can you give me some 100% crops so I can see the glasses problems close up?
