These defaults are ok, but please double-check to make sure the ICC Profile Version is set to "Version 2":

This is no longer visible in my latest i1Profiler software.

(I'm revisiting this guide as somewhat annoyinging the lastest update cleared my previous settings. Grrr.)

My new calibration tool shows as Version 4 ( default) although I do have Version 2 I can choose from. What are the differences as I note you say to use Version 2.

Not all programs recognise V4 profiles.  Use V2.
