Damien Symonds Posted March 25, 2020 Posted March 25, 2020 < Go back to the previous step << Go back to the beginning Profiling For the next couple of minutes, the device will read a range of colours: Once the Spyder has taken all its measurements, remove it from the screen, and press “Finish”: Lights back up >>
Damette Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 After I hit finish I got a pop up that says "The calibrated brightness does not match the target, therefore the brightness target is being adjusted from 180.0 to 161.0." When we were on the brightness step my bar was perfectly in the green area so I'm not sure if I made a mistake along the way. I did my external monitor first as that's the one I prefer to use when editing.
Damien Symonds Posted September 29, 2021 Author Posted September 29, 2021 161????? Whoa, that's way too bright.

I can take a SS when I'm done adjusting the brightness. I was definitely in the little green area and matched all your settings. I did do WLED because I was assuming as a Mac Thunderbolt Display. It was a hand-me-down so I don't know much about it.

TristaW Posted December 14, 2021 Posted December 14, 2021 I just tried to calibrate my laptop screen with the SpyderX Elite. I have a Lenovo Edge 15, old I know that is on the list to update next. After I hit finish, the pop up says "The calibrated brightness does not match the target, therefore the brightness target is being adjusted from 80.0 to 58.0" How do I fix this?
Damien Symonds Posted December 14, 2021 Author Posted December 14, 2021 That's perfectly normal, don't worry.
Morgankayy98 Posted May 25, 2022 Posted May 25, 2022 H it’s me again. After I hit finish, the pop up says “the calibrated brightness does not match the target, therefore brightness target is being adjusted from 80.0 to 546.0” is this okay?
Damien Symonds Posted May 25, 2022 Author Posted May 25, 2022 546?? Gosh, that brightness would burn your eyes right out of their sockets. Is that how the screen looks to you?
