SpyderX Elite calibration tutorial – Desktop screens

Elite.jpg

This tutorial discusses using the SpyderX Elite to calibrate most desktop screens – that is, screens which have buttons and menus to control contrast, brightness and colour.

This tutorial will guide you step-by-step through the calibration process.  I hope you'll find it easy to follow.  If you'd like to sign in (it's completely free to create an account, don't worry) you are welcome to ask questions on any of the slides if you need more information or help.

I was curious if the light in my room was white / neutral enough so I did an experiment. I took a photo of the WB sheet at my computer. Once I used WB in ACR, it came out to 3400 and +8. If this was even a valid way to check my light, does this sound right? Thanks!
