1234
Hi there! Hoping to change the background colour of this picture to a bright blue (but open to other colours if it is easier). This is SOOR - still working through levels class (and playing with the picture as we go) so don't have an edited version just yet.
Damien Symonds
Can you give me an idea of the shade of blue you'd like? Remember not to make it too bright, that will look implausible.
1234
I am thinking like a baby blue, is this too bright?
Damien Symonds
Yes, too bright, sorry.

Damien Symonds
Ok, it's this Levels layer: RGB channel: 0/1.16/255 and 0/255 Red channel: 0/0.59/255 and 0/255 Green channel: 0/1.10/255 and 31/221 Blue channel: 0/3.08/255 and 0/1.87 If I've done my job properly, you'll find that you don't need very much precision when masking around the spikes. 1234
Thank you! That was a lifesaver How did I do? I did replace the background with a gradient tool (from your online tutorial), not sure if you want to see it without the background replaced (I think I need to mask the gradient around the big duck a bit better) Edited May 3, 2020 by 1234
Damien Symonds
Looks great. 3 hours ago, Damien Symonds said: If I've done my job properly, you'll find that you don't need very much precision when masking around the spikes. Did you find this worked ok? That you could just brush loosely over the spikes?
