Make sure you’ve chosen the first one, just after “Unsharp Mask”. You know the drill by now. Select it, then “Record Again”: This is where we add the border. The default settings are 40 pixels: In both fields, enter double your border thickness. In my example, my border was 25px, so I enter 50 in both fields. One more thing. By default, the action gives you a white border. But of course it can be any colour you like. To choose a different colour, simply click on the little swatch at the bottom of the Canvas Size dialog: Please note, this option might not be available in very old versions of Photoshop. Once you’ve changed the numbers and colours as needed, press OK. Canvas Size #2 >> Link to comment
