The brightness step

Next, your screen will flash a few colours briefly, then stop at a white screen again, waiting for you to adjust the brightness.

Your screen might be too bright, so yellow arrow will tell you that you need to adjust the brightness downwards.  Or it might be too dark, and the arrow will tell you to brighten.

Either way, use your screen's buttons to adjust the brightness.  As you do so, the X-Rite will constantly read your changes and tell you that you're getting closer to the Target value.  (It has a delay of about a second or two, so be patient.)  Your goal is to get the yellow bar right in the middle of the green range:

(You might not be able to get it exactly in the middle of the green section.  That's ok, just get it as close as you can.)

Then press Next.
