JudyM Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 Hi Damien, I have a customer that is inquiring about this image on canvas. Because of the white on white, I'm just not sure it will look right on canvas....perhaps plaquing might be better (with black edges). What do you think?
Damien Symonds Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 Do you have reason to distrust your canvas printer? I mean, do you fear that the print won't be accurate to your screen?
JudyM Posted February 21, 2021 Author Posted February 21, 2021 No, not really. It's probably just that most of my customers opt for plaquing so I don't have a ton of experience with canvases and was afraid the white of the swan wouldn't stand out against the white snowy background.
Damien Symonds Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 As long as their printing is accurate, this will look beautiful on canvas. But you're right to be cautious - if their print profile is even a little bit wayward at the highlight end, it could quickly lose its impact.
