Synctoy Replacement

Hi All, I'm in the process of setting up my new windows 10 64 bit pc. Synctoy is no longer available in the microsoft downloads site.  Brian what do you recommend as a replacement?

I can't speak for Brian, but I've switched to FreeFileSync, and been very happy so far.

FreeFileSync is a good one. I've also heard of Syncthing being well regarded too. The difference between the two is FreeFileSync uses your network to transfer files, Syncthing uses the Internet/Cloud. For me, FreeFileSync gets my vote.

Thanks Brian, I think I’ll stick with the free file sync - my internet is not the best on a good day.

Of course, you can still find Synctoy 2.1 64-bit.

I haven't messed with software such as this in a very long time. That said, it looks to be recently updated so I'd give it a try. You can always remove it.

Freefilesync still the best free one , also many tools are available now with full features especially for clouds like Syncback , Gs Richcopy 360 , Syncthing and Goodsync .

every tool has its options which make it better , so search all

We need an Enterprise sync tool for migrating servers , what do you recommend from these?

I read about Goodsync and Gs Richcopy 360 , look good but I do not have experince with it

What type of Servers are you migrating? What OS are they running? Are any Windows Domain Controllers? Do you have experienced IT Staff to accomplish these tasks? How many servers are we talking?
