I'm curious as to how this style is achieved.  I see desaturation but I'm unsure how to get the creamy bronze look.

Can you link to a specific image?  Remember that the lighting must be the same as yours.

I can't find one with the same lighting as mine so I plan to take one with the same lighting as hers in the near future.
