Edited November 5, 2022 by 365andBrand
365andBrand Posted November 5, 2022 Author Posted November 5, 2022 Im not experienced in doing this, so I'm not exactly sure where i went wrong...am i supossed to open my photo and continue to part 3: Use it and apply the watermark where i use place embedded first, before using the action? i can do that and get m y watermark onthe photo and move it where ever there...
365andBrand Posted November 5, 2022 Author Posted November 5, 2022 hmm. i dont think i can go any further with this segment untill i learn to save for web and learn how to use USM.
Damien Symonds Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Have you, or have you not, resized your photo to web size?
365andBrand Posted November 6, 2022 Author Posted November 6, 2022 no, i 'm not sure how. I'd usually just save as a jpeg and use that.
Damien Symonds Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Well, what is the destination of your file? Which website will it be for?
365andBrand Posted November 6, 2022 Author Posted November 6, 2022 for now, the only thing i really use is facebook or instagram. (I just set up two preset crops, per info on your resources, a 2048height and a 2048 width...im guessing i can use one of those two to save an image for web, and instagram is 4 x 5 or 1 x 1)
365andBrand Posted November 6, 2022 Author Posted November 6, 2022 i always used full resolution jpegs for facebook. is the reason not to do that so people can't lift the image and print it?
Damien Symonds Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Facebook-sized images are big enough to print, no matter what you do. That's why we put the watermark on it. 1
365andBrand Posted November 6, 2022 Author Posted November 6, 2022 if i am happy with place embedding my watermark on my images for now, can i wait to learn to use the actions at a later time?
365andBrand Posted November 6, 2022 Author Posted November 6, 2022 whew...i have so much to learn before i have images worthy of a watermark!
