rswannabe
Could I get some suggestions on how to shape up her neck. This is my mother in law and SUPER self conscious. I've tried liquefy and made it worse.
Crystal Felton
likely a mix of reducing the shadows/evening out the skin tone altogether and liquify
Damien Symonds
Liquify would only play a very small role here. It'll be mostly Handyman Method. Here's another example. If you can allow me a few minutes, I'll have a play.
Damien Symonds
By the way, what quality level did you choose when saving the jpeg file to upload here? It must have been very low, it's awfully blocky.
Damien Symonds
Do you think she'd be ok with this?
rswannabe
YES D! I think that is a very nice impovement. I actually did save at low quality by mistake here is higher quality if if helps. Was this all done with handy man?
rswannabe
I have a very hard time with liquify. It's very shaky and I can never get a good result. Not sure if it's not enough memory or what.
Damien Symonds
A little bit of liquify first, then handyman. Hold on, I'll upload the PSD ... Could you do this for me? I have a PC desktop running Windows 10 and Photoshop cc. It is over 2 years old, and has 16GB of RAM. Its hard drive has 576GB free out of 686GB. The last time I shut down was earlier today. I run a cleanup program about once a month.

Damien Symonds
Well no, your specs look good. I see nothing there to suggest you'd have trouble liquifying. My best suggestion is, don't try to liquify the whole image. Draw a selection with your marquee tool around the head, then run liquify only on that area. It should help. I learned that from you early on : )) I'm updating the driver for my intuos tablet now. Maybe that'll help.
rswannabe
UUGGGHHHH. The driver update didn't help. This is going to take several hundred tries. If I can get it, I'll post results. Thanks for your help D!
