KimMoore Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 Hi Damien, So I understand this, I want to re-size this image for web. I have adjusted the longest side to 960, but what do I do with the short side?
KimMoore Posted November 24, 2023 Author Posted November 24, 2023 I think I just noticed it changes on its own... But when saving as a jpg, what things do I tick on the right hand side.
Damien Symonds Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 No no no. Never use Jpeg2000. Only normal Jpeg.

KimMoore Posted November 25, 2023 Author Posted November 25, 2023 All done. Now the correct way to save it from here?
Damien Symonds Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Oh crap. https://damiensymonds.net/art_tscs000.html
KimMoore Posted November 25, 2023 Author Posted November 25, 2023 The charity will use them on fb first, then newspaper. but happy to do fb first.
Damien Symonds Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 For FB I find that quality 11 is best. But of course you must resize first. And sharpen!
KimMoore Posted November 26, 2023 Author Posted November 26, 2023 I skipped the sharpening bit (only because that is completely different since updating photoshop & I'm about to go back & re-read this, but they need the photos) I re-sized to 2048 pixels longest side & save jpg 11.
KimMoore Posted November 26, 2023 Author Posted November 26, 2023 Whoops, sorry I skipped the noise part because that was different & thought if I don't deal with the noise no point in sharpening.
