X-rite i1 Display

Good afternoon

I am trying to callibrate my desktop with the x-rite i1 and it is telling me i have to upgrade for £35 for the new callibrating software as the one i have been using till now has discontued.

Would you recommend i do that? My screen is in urgent need of calibration!

I know they want you to do that, but there is also a free software option if you look for it.
