Hi Damien, Taking your Raw class for a second time. I should know the answer to this question, but I forgot. Do you want a copy of the image before it is edited? I remember the 100% crop and the one with sliders showing. Thanks in advance. Donna

It's time for me to reprofile my monitor. Is it the same steps as before? Will it just reprofile based on the profile I saved from the first time? Thank You in advance.....

Uninstalled and reinstalled. Pic looks good now, but I am not calibrated. How hard can this be?

I also checked to make sure I had the current software.

I just attempted to calibrate my monitor for the 3rd or 4th time. I don't even know how to describe what i got, a pink blurry mess. I have a new monitor and spent several hours on the phone with Dell yesterday trying to reset the monitor to factory settings. The yellow bar does not move at all when doing the contrast and brightness. I am at a loss. I'm following the directions to the letter and printed them up to make sure I was. Stumped....help.

Yes, I have unistalled and reinstalled. To be honest, my prints matched my monitor better before the external calibration. I'm sure I probably also need a new monitor.

Disregard the above msg....when I callibrate, it changes what I post as well. How do above pics look in terms of color? This is driving me nuts.

Can you see the awful discoloration ? I could not move my contrast bar or brightness bar. I have buttons for contrast and brightness and was able to follow the instructions, but I was never able to move that bar one way or the other. I probably do need a new monitor. I may not be explaining myself very well. I am going to factory reset and try one more time.

My prints are just a bit brighter, which I like (am use to). Thank you for your help! In numerous pics , people are wearing black. After I calibrated, the blacks had splashes of a wine (burgundy)color throughout them. I thought it was maybe Facebook, but it wasn't because I looked through some of my pics that weren't posted on FB and the same thing. So I re-calibrated using my software and got rid of the splotches. I'll try again to re-calibrate using the hardware.
