Hi Laurie, did you shoot raw?
-
How did this ever turn out, @Roxy Clark?
-
You must always use pro lab prints for monitor verification.

Hang on, you're not comparing to home prints are you?

Image > Mode > 8 bit

Comparing your screenshots with my instructions, this is where we seem to deviate.
-
No more Graphi for you.
-
-
Were you able to speak to a tech?
-
-
Not at all. You'll be fine for the usual monthly calibration.
-
Have you spoken to Graphi about this problem?
-
Print profiles are the profiles that GOOD PROFESSIONAL labs provide to their customers.
For soft-proofing. https://www.damiensymonds.net/2010/03/bit-about-soft-proofing.html

FUCK NO.

How's the print match? (Not the Graphi prints of course.)

It looks like it should be a good screen.

Yes, but not the Graphi lab. We can't trust them.

So please help me understand this. No matter the settings on my computer, it doesn't change the data written on the image file. Correct? So no matter how I'm viewing it, technically the image file doesn't change even if my screen gets colder or warmer. Am I understanding this right?
Correct.
-
Gee.
-
Those are image profiles, yes. They're not print profiles.
-
I still think the issue is hinted in the second screenshot. I'm very worried about how they're handling profiles.
-
No, because of the first screenshot you gave me.
They (stupidly) recommend Adobe RGB, but accept sRGB.
-
So they don't provide ICC profiles at all?
-
Good questions.
