Kim Howells
Hi Damo. I have an edit where all of my levels layers have the RGB drop-down greyed out. Any idea why it's greyed out?
Kim Howells
NVM, closed file and reopened, and it's working.
Damien Symonds
Yeah, it's just one of those glitches. Happens to everyone from time to time.
Damien Symonds
@Jodie Williams, this is the problem you're having too, right?
Damien Symonds
If so, can you do this for me?
Jodie Williams
Yes, but I didn’t get to read the fix or file you sent
Damien Symonds
I didn't provide a fix or a file. Only the link which I've provided again above.
Jodie Williams
I have a PC desktop running Windows 10 and Photoshop 6.2. It is over 2 years old, and has 14GB of RAM. Its hard drive has 231GB free out of 79.8GB. The last time I shut down was earlier today. I rarely run a cleanup program.

The first seems unlikely, and the second is obviously impossible.
Jodie Williams
They are correct as I have my ram updated about 18 months ago and the SSD c drive is the original. I was a gaming computer
Jodie Williams
I did a clean up last night which will show more GB free in my C drive
Damien Symonds
Yep, that makes more sense. 13 hours ago, Jodie Williams said: Photoshop 6.2. Photoshop 6 is really really old. Do you mean CS6?
Jodie Williams
No. That is the version for CS5.
Jodie Williams
I tried to put CS5 but it wouldn’t accept it in the field.

CS5 is version 12, actually. 8 minutes ago, Jodie Williams said: I tried to put CS5 but it wouldn’t accept it in the field. Huh, weird. It definitely DOES accept it in the field. I wonder if this is another related problem? Have you noticed any other weirdness in your computer behaviour lately? Any other little things not working that should work? Damien Symonds
Hmmm ... I wonder if there's something serious brewing behind all this.
Jodie Williams
Also my black and white mask won't work properly. If I have masked on with black and then want to mask off with white the white won't work. I also can not wake my computer from sleep sometimes. it is on with the on symbol light on, no activity from the hard drive working. I have had it looked at so many times. no one can get the same issues to play up. Edited November 7, 2018 by Jodie Williams *

Next time this happens, make sure you check that in the Options bar. 14 minutes ago, Jodie Williams said: I also can not wake my computer from sleep sometimes. it is on with the on symbol light on, no activity from the hard drive working. I trust you're keeping frequent backups of all your data, in case the worst happens suddenly?
