Calibration

I just attempted to calibrate my monitor for the 3rd or 4th time. I don't even know how to describe what i got, a pink blurry mess. I have a new monitor and spent several hours on the phone with Dell yesterday trying to reset the monitor to factory settings. The yellow  bar does not move at all when doing the contrast and brightness. I am at a loss. I'm  following the directions to the letter and printed them up to make sure I was. Stumped....help.

What calibrator is it?

X-Rite color munki display. I have uninstalled the software, switched monitors and the pic is still the same.

I also checked to make sure I had the current software.

Is the problem exactly the same as with the previous monitor?  Both "pink blurry messes"?

Uninstalled and reinstalled. Pic looks good now, but I am not calibrated. How hard can this be?

Then that suggests a faulty calibrator, wouldn't you think?  Have you raised this with X-Rite?

That's what I'm thinking as well...will contact x-rite!

Well, it's not scary weird pink if that's what you're asking. Us telling you what we see on our screens won't help you calibrate.
