Damien Symonds Posted May 10, 2019 Share Posted May 10, 2019 Ah. Brian will have wiser advice, but in my experience you can have success (sometimes) by changing the filename. Try ".tif" and ".jpg" and even ".psd" to see what happens. Brian Posted May 10, 2019 Share Posted May 10, 2019 With data recovery, it pulls together bits and pieces and tries to assemble them in what it thinks is a master file. Unfortunately, It doesn't always work. You could try renaming one as TestFile01.TIFF and see what happens. Those files you are looking for might be gone for good. That said, I would try finding another filename that is similar and one that you recognize and try and open that one. Often with data recovery, you will have 5-10 versions of the same file and they each have their own file extension, e.g., .dng, .jpg, .gif. cr2, etc. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
