You MUST NOT ADJUST THE FILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The file must stay exactly the same, and you adjust the SCREEN.

If in doubt, always go lower.  So choose the second level.

ok i wont bother to try that "Calibrate" then!

System preferences also gives me options of color profiles to pick from and ther are some that say SRGB? ...So by keep the posts coming, do you mean i can now go back to trying to find my white balance on old craw files, or do i need to reshoot photos again?  Also...

i now think i must also be just shooting too dark to begin with .

Keep this on its default setting.  It might be called "Color LCD" or something like that?
