The LCD on the back of your camera is showing you a jpeg preview...if you are shooting raw, it's not very accurate. While it's good to keep an eye on the LCD for clippings and adjust your exposure triangle, it's not reliable 100%.
The histogram in your raw editing program is what you should rely on.
Can you also add which calibrator and which pro lab? And, of course, you know that you are supposed to get the monitor to match those awful prints (no matter the shadows and all that).
And you already did read the "light around the computer"?
