I would crop them first, without resizing, so that you know your desired crop gives you at least 6 megapixels to work with.
Or you can use the method Damien describes here to determine the megapixels and then crop and resize in one step: http://www.damiensymonds.net/2014/03/how-aggressively-can-i-crop.html

So I can't stand by a graph each and every time. "So, sadly, I guess she doesn't see it. I am at a loss here, but this is what I was paid for
She sounds like she barely knows how to use PS herself...

And can you check this too please? http://www.damiensymonds.net/art_tscs000.html
The first photo you posted is not in sRGB or has some other issue with the colorprofiles. (see the little * at the top, near the filename?)

It does match in Firefox, but still looks dreadful in the other browsers and on my phone (please don't say it's because it's dreadful to begin with). I'm assuming that the majority of people who see the photo are not in Firefox and see a very ashy kid. Do I just have to suck it up and live with it?
Yep. Nothing you can do about the screens and browsers others are using. Their lack of monitor calibration is probably going to have a bigger impact on how the image appears than what browser they choose.

I think this tutorial will help you warm your skin up more: http://www.damiensymonds.net/2013/02/using-photo-filter-layer-to-fix-casts.htm

I have been asked to take the girls out and just have the boys on there own and have one photo with the two boys together.
So you need to remove the girls, and then make a new photo that combines the images of the boys?
-
Do you want to put the girls in another image? Or are you going to be using the images containing the boys in your design?

Are you asking an editing question? (If so, what is it?)
Or are you asking for help with photography settings?
Right. Because if all the photos are out of focus like this, no amount of editing is going to fix them. And this is not something that was done just by shooting in raw.

Woah, that is very out of focus. Did you accidentally switch your lens to manual focus?
Are all your images this out of focus? Or only the ones your camera blended? -

Hi again Damien,
You mention that to begin calibration that the room should be dim. How dim should it be? I.e. no overhead lights on during the day with curtains closed? Lights off but curtains slightly open?
Getting stuck on the little details
Pippa
PS: I've probably caught you watching the State of Origin...go Maroons, right??
Don't over think this. lol Just turn the lights off and close the curtains. You should have enough light to see what you're doing, but not any spilling directly on the monitor.

If you just want to have multiple images on one document you can start with a blank document and then use File > Place Embedded to add the other images to it.
If you want the collage to have a certain design or layout (template) you can create your own following these tutorials: http://www.damiensymonds.net/tut_collage.html
If you just want a couple images side by side with no white space, I'd do it this way: http://www.damiensymonds.net/2011/09/making-before-and-after.html -
Nothing in that screen should have any bearing on your ability to cut and paste.
Can you explain more about what you are trying to accomplish? Damien has an excellent tutorial for creating a triptych that'd I'd recommend: http://www.damiensymonds.net/2014/12/preparing-files-for-wrapped-triptych.html But it sounds like you might be doing something different since cutting and pasting shouldn't be necessary. -

That's odd - it is checked. Is there a Reset workspace (I know in PS sometimes the settings get wonky and you can reset).
Can I see a full screenshot please? Of everything you see in Bridge? You've cut some things off on the sides.

Go to Window menu at the top and make sure the blue check mark is on next to "Metadata Panel". The panel should appear and then you just need to drag it to the place you'd like it to be.

I find it unlikely that your computer might be struggling to keep up with the monitor. Your card is still pretty good. Mine is the 550 version and it works great.
Did the banding re-appear after you calibrated the temporary monitor you are using? And just to make sure we are on the same page, he calibrated the monitor after you hooked it up to your computer, correct?
Damien would never recommend an iMac lol.
I'd look into getting one of the suggested monitors that Damien has listed on his website: http://www.damiensymonds.net/art_monitor.html if whoever you purchased this monitor from isn't able to give you a suitable alternative. -

It's time for me to reprofile my monitor. Is it the same steps as before? Will it just reprofile based on the profile I saved from the first time? Thank You in advance.....
You mean recalibrate? The steps are similar, but not as extensive. The directions for your calibrator should have a link to the steps for recalibrating once a month.

That is so weird. It shouldn't do that. That said, I have had strange things happen when saving before if I flatten that I just can't explain.
Did you save these in exactly the same way? (besides the flattening) File > Save as > jpeg > quality 10 ? (for example) -

Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling PS? I'm at a lost too. Its definitely not normal.

to be honest, i am still so new to this that i dont know what the difference would be to remove all the texture or not. Since you are the expert, i will trust your guidance until i develop my own "eye" and "style" for the photos.
Right now, i would like to do the best that i am able to do. I would love to erase all the wrinkles, but that obviously comes at a price of loosing some/all texture. we could try it and see? what do you think?
I'd vote for having the texture match. It seems distracting to me in the examples you provided for the spots you removed wrinkles from to not have the same texture.
I'm not quite sure what Damien will recommend to fix it however. Curious to see what he has to say.

Can you fill our this please?
http://www.damiensymonds.com.au/thread1.html
Also, what type of input device are you using? A wacom? Can you try using a mouse to edit and see if the issues persist? Or if you are using a mouse can you replace the batteries and/or use a different mouse?

Have you read this article yet? It takes dodge/burning a step further. It doesn't work in all situations, but it may work here.

You'll want an IPS screen, not a TN screen.

I would try again with the balloons using layer masks as Damien discusses here:
