  1. Is this the method you tried? https://www.damiensymonds.net/patch-tool-for-eye-bags.html
  2. Ok, now we've fixed that, can you tell me what wrinkles you were trying to repair? Is it the under-eye ones?
  3. Oh, this isn't right. Can you post this photo in the Raw Class please?
  4. Ok, show me the photo with the wrinkles.
  5. You can use the Alt key in LR too. It just doesn't work
  6. Histogram, yes. Clipping, no. Very sadly. Correct.
  7. If it makes you feel better, then yes, go ahead and get some new test prints. But I assure you, it won't make a shred of difference. If your screen now finally matches the prints you already have, then I assure you your calibration is correct, and you may proceed to edit with confidence.
  8. It's difficult to say, exactly. As far as I know they represent Melissa RGB, which is the colloquial name of the colour space that Lightroom uses for its internal calculations. It's a huge space similar to ProPhoto RGB. Therefore, Lightroom accurately shows clipping in whites (where detail is blown out completely white) but not accurately for colours.
  9. @Gabriela, where did you go?
  10. It looks like you're not viewing in filename order?
  11. Hey @Gabriela, what's up? What were you trying to repair with the Healing Tool?
  12. You assume incorrectly. Any prints you already have are absolutely fine, as long as they're from your usual pro lab.
  13. How did you go, @SRubyor?
  14. These are easily passes. This one I'm nervous about.
  15. Easily good enough. In fact, it's hard to imagine it being any better.
  16. No. Elements is incredibly powerful, and skilled editors can make incredible images with it. Sadly, many beginners choose Photoshop over Elements because they think a more expensive program will make them better editors. Of course this is not true.
  17. I haven't heard of this either, sorry.
  18. Yes, the Advanced Levels Class.
  19. Looks great. Did you find this worked ok? That you could just brush loosely over the spikes?
  20. Don't forget this!! https://www.damiensymonds.net/2010/10/shift-while-brushing.html
  21. Ok, it's this Levels layer: RGB channel: 0/1.16/255 and 0/255 Red channel: 0/0.59/255 and 0/255 Green channel: 0/1.10/255 and 31/221 Blue channel: 0/3.08/255 and 0/1.87 If I've done my job properly, you'll find that you don't need very much precision when masking around the spikes.
  22. This is as close as I can manage. Would it be ok?
  23. Yes, too bright, sorry.
  24. Can you give me an idea of the shade of blue you'd like? Remember not to make it too bright, that will look implausible.
