  1. Ok, it's this Levels layer: RGB channel: 0/1.16/255 and 0/255 Red channel: 0/0.59/255 and 0/255 Green channel: 0/1.10/255 and 31/221 Blue channel: 0/3.08/255 and 0/1.87 If I've done my job properly, you'll find that you don't need very much precision when masking around the spikes.
  2. This is as close as I can manage. Would it be ok?
  3. Yes, too bright, sorry.
  4. Can you give me an idea of the shade of blue you'd like? Remember not to make it too bright, that will look implausible.
  5. Oh, that'd be awesome! I must be very clear about this. Your goal is to make your room as brightly lit as if there was sunlight from a bright sunny day outside.
  6. No, wait! You're not calibrated unless the screen matches the prints. If you have to go as low as 56 to get a print match, it means your room is too dim. Are you able to get more light in there?
  7. @SHartland, please don't wait any longer to dive into your raw class! Your time is running out.
  8. DO NOT USE THEIR PROFILE. Are you following my calibration instructions here? https://www.damiensymonds.net/calibration.html
  9. Thanks. In what way does your screen differ from your prints? And how did you go looking for new bulbs?
  10. Which Spyder 4? Express, Pro or Elite?
  11. @Janenz, I'm starting a new thread so we can fix your problem. What screen do you have, and which calibrator?
  12. I didn't grab it from anywhere, I typed it manually. mailto:info@damiensymonds.net
  13. Can you try this one? https://tinyurl.com/yb2r9lpy
  14. Your link works for me. Actually, that's not quite true. It doesn't work as perfectly as mine did.
  15. @Cindy, I just sent you my link in a message on your Impromptu page. Can you try it?
  16. Well ... no. What's all that gibberish after the email address? That wasn't there when I tried it.
  17. Use https://tinyurl.com/ Enter your mailto link - eg mailto:info@damiensymonds.net - and let tinyurl turn it into a link. Facebook will honour that link. At least, it did for me when I just tried it.
  18. I'm sorry you didn't ask me. But I'm glad she's happy.
  19. Yep, it's applicable to any photo that is well-focused and not grainy. Modern phones can take good clean photos. It will rock your world, I promise.
  20. As big as she likes. As big as a bus if she wants. As long as you don't need to crop it very much, is all. https://www.damiensymonds.net/2014/03/how-aggressively-can-i-crop.html
  21. No, that won't be sufficient. Try it this way: https://www.damiensymonds.net/2010/10/tips-for-photographing-old-photos-for.html
  22. Well ... yes, if the digitisation is of sufficient quality. Will you be able to get the actual photo, so you can scan it yourself? This kind of work lives or dies by the quality of the scan.
