  1. No, it won't make any difference to the moire, but it might make all the difference to fixing the moire. May I see it?
  2. Yes there is. A LOT. No.
  3. The green is tricky. I think maybe the safest way is to add a Solid Color layer of lime green, and change its blend mode to "Hue", then mask it on carefully.
  4. Ok, that's one less thing to worry about. For changing the red to pink, I think simply a Hue/Saturation layer, choose Reds, and enter roughly: -10 +35 +40 for the three sliders.
  5. I don't know how to prevent it, sorry. Fixing will be darn tricky. Are you able to process the raw file without any shadow clipping in the dress?
  6. Can you see the weird edges here? Were they visible in the unedited raw file, when you first opened it? Or have they appeared during raw processing?
  7. Also, I just noticed that your file is untagged (doesn't have a colour profile attached). This is quite risky. Always make sure you have this checkbox checked when saving your files:
  8. Hi Jessica, I'm sure we can manage this. Go ahead and do your raw processing as normal, then post the photo again, along with a 100% crop of the cake so I can see the colours close up. Also, remind me which version of Photoshop you have?
  9. Once it's downloaded, it should be as simple as double-clicking it, and it should install by itself.
  10. Bummer
  11. Yep, definitely the easiest way. However ... ... this shouldn't be. Can you describe what you're seeing?
  12. What are the pixel dimensions of the file?
  13. Um, no you haven't. It still looks yellow to me.
  14. Yeah. Calibration does NOT last that long.
  15. Sure, just add a Hue/Saturation layer, go to "Yellows", and increase the Lightness slider all the way to +100.
  16. No, the pink you see is because of this:
  17. That's ok, we can change it easily. Which would you like to change - the background yellower or the rug whiter?
  18. No no no, you MUST choose a background that's akin to the existing background. This won't work at all.
  19. Sure! For which photo? It might work for either the first or second.
  20. Have you been incorporating it into your editing?
  21. No, read the instructions again
  22. I'm not Brian, but could you do this for us?
  23. I understand why you say "unfortunately", but of course it's a good thing to have technical problems out of the way. It should only be a week or two until you have an opportunity to upgrade the Raw Class.
  24. Ok, so are you satisfied that your calibrated screen matches your pro lab prints exactly?
