This is a very good question. No, definitely not TIFF. That is a very old-fashioned notion, which I sort of addressed here. Jpeg is fine. Level 10 quality is ample. Are you doing the InDesign work, or are you providing the photos to somebody else to do the ID work?

Rename doesn't work in Filmstrip mode either? May I see a screenshot of the menu you see when you right-click?

I guess you're aware that 4GB is very low. Still, it shouldn't be causing this. The weird thing is that there shouldn't be only one folder showing in the Content panel. There should be a whole lot of them, the same as there are in Filmstrip mode. Have you since switched back to Essentials to see if it's still like that?

Then, to change the colour of the pants, add a Levels layer and: Move the middle slider on the Red channel to 1.10 Move the middle slider on the Green channel to 1.30 And move the middle slider on the Blue channel to 1.20 Then mask on.

And for this one, probably clone the dark pants over the lighter strip. Again, with a mask.

For this one, I think the best option would be to clone those orange parts out. Just clone skin upwards, then mask.

You'll have to take more care with your masking around the body.
