  1. It's all about modifying the background that's already there, so that the new background can blend fairly seamlessly. Download PSD
  2. Yes, I would do that. Let's not get into a panic just because of one set of prints.
  3. Ok, great! So you've just been sent a bad print batch, yeah? It happens sometimes.
  4. First things first - have you got out some older prints to compare to the screen as well? Some ones that you know used to match?
  5. Absolutely. 100% brightness is WAY too high. Follow my exact calibration instructions. They'll tell you when to adjust the brightness.
  6. Only laptop screens use this Display Options window to adjust brightness. And yours isn't a laptop screen.
  7. Perfect, thanks. So Samsung screens have that stupid little joystick button on the back, and that's how you access the screen controls like brightness (and colour and stuff). The button is described on page 10 of the manual.
  8. No, that's the info about your computer. I want to know about the screen. What make/model is it?
  9. Hang on ... does that mean you were following the wrong instructions at first? These are the ones to follow.
  10. If the monitor doesn't match the prints, you cannot like it, period. Fix the screen to match the prints.
  11. Then you definitely don't need to get new test prints. Your job is simply to make your screen match the prints you already have. But yes, you must make sure your Photoshop Color Settings are on "North America General Purpose 2" the way they should be.
  12. @DonnaM, that shouldn't be a problem. Have you done this?
  13. Sorry I missed this. ACR has improved a lot in Elements since then. But yeah, I guess you could try your old version first.
