  1. Anyway, I urge you not to correct perspective this way. It's too destructive, and limiting. I beg you to do it properly. https://www.damiensymonds.net/2014/03/distortion-or-perspective-correction.html
  2. Never say never. It might come up at some stage. And if it does, make sure you consult me about the CMYK workflow. I don't know, sorry.
  3. Yes, because you've got it set to "8px x 11px" in the Options bar, of course Presumably you mean that to be 8x11 inches?
  4. Yep, that'll do. The CMYK Working Space is different, but it's immaterial anyway, since you'll always use a custom profile if you ever have need to output something in CMYK mode. I don't think my NAGP2 file from CS5 would work in your version.
  5. Holy mackerel! Something went badly wrong with your install. This issue alone isn't enough to warrant a complete reinstall, but you should certainly keep an eye out for other missing features. Let's fix this manually. Under "Color Management Policies", all three should be set to "Preserve Embedded Profiles", and all the checkboxes should be turned off. All the other stuff will be ok.
  6. Absolutely not. NEVER change those settings from "North America General Purpose 2".
  7. Hi Josie, I've moved this post into Ask Damien since it's not a class question per se. I hope you might be able to get away with Liquify to stretch those corners out, so you can avoid "mindless cloning". And for the divot, definitely Liquify, then some dodge-and-burn to balance the light and shadow a bit.
  8. Ok. PLEASE start posting photos in class again.
  9. Did you get a resolution on this, @Tarria?
  10. Sorry, we've badly crossed a line now. I can't discuss raw class stuff outside of class. https://www.damiensymonds.net/trainingraw-signup.html
  11. I believe you have to rebuild cache after you turn it on. Have you done so?
  12. There's more to clean processing than just raw processing; and there's more to raw processing than just white balance.
  13. Have you got "Generate Monitor Size Previews" turned on? https://ask.damiensymonds.net/topic/16958-br2-16/
  14. There is a LOT more to clean processing than white balance. And a lot more to it than just raw processing (although that would be a good start). Do you still have your notes from the class?
  15. Yep, this image might work. Go ahead and do your clean processing on it then post it for me.
