  1. Well, I figure that our options with the sky will be dictated by how much tree detail can be recovered. Go ahead and do your raw processing then show me the SOOR.
  2. Also, I figure he'll need to know about your gear - camera and lenses.
  3. Brian will need to see examples.
  4. Try the matching thing first. It may not work as well as advertised, but it can't hurt to try.
  5. Thanks. When you do, can you also show me a 100% crop from the master file? (That is, without the resizing or sharpening for print).
  6. Yeah, almost. https://www.damiensymonds.net/2013/09/grabbing-700x700px-100-crop.html
  7. Yes, but that's not stopping you. All you need to do is join them again and post a few. You can be in the Skin Class by this time tomorrow if you apply yourself.
  8. I'm pretty sure you know the answer to this one, mate

  10. No, you definitely haven't. https://www.damiensymonds.net/trainingskin.html
  11. What do you mean, help? Take the damn class, you mug!
  12. Oh @Jan Mac, this is SUCH a good question, and one I've struggled with myself. It begins by positioning the photo carefully enough when photographing to avoid glare and reflection as much as possible. But that is never the whole story. The second part of the story is in the editing, and it usually involves Channel Mixer. May I see one of your problematic images?
  13. That's only a problem if you try to liquify too precisely. Make it nice and big. Download PSD
  14. The first one looks similar enough, I reckon. It might work.
  15. The neck area would be a simple enough Liquify job, but I'm calling "impossible" on the mouth closing, sorry.
  16. Hi @kelkolkat, I'm not sure if it matters, but can you tell us where the original raw files are? I mean, are they on your internal hard drive?
  17. My blue Solid Color layer was R9 G41 B115. On Soft Light blend mode as I said, and partially masked off the face.
