  1. Well, I'm stumped. When I edited your raw file, the moire is much less, and it's really easy to remove. But for yours, we'll have to do it the hard way. First, add a Dodge and Burn layer. Don't do anything to it yet, just let it sit there. Next, add a Solid Color layer of the good shirt colour. Set that layer's blend mode to "Color", then mask it to the shirt. That should take care of a lot of the moire, but a few visible stripes will remain in the worst areas. So return to the D&B layer and gently correct those striped areas.
  2. Yep, unchecked is just as good. This should be fine. PLEASE don't wait any longer to take a class refresher. This makes me cry a little.
  3. Choose the brush tool, and paint. That is all.
  4. Don't post them one at a time. Post them all at once (in separate threads).
  5. Did you try it, @SWhit?
  6. Hmmm ... odd. It's nowhere near as strong when I edit it. Can you click on the blue link at the bottom of ACR. In the window that pops up, there's a "Sharpen for" option. That should be set to "None" at all times. I'm wondering if yours isn't set to None?
  7. Gosh, this is really stubborn, isn't it? Do you mind sending me the raw file? Send it via https://spaces.hightail.com/uplink/BellePhotography
  8. @abfriesen?
  9. Oh! Right, I see. Ok, remove the action from that action list entirely, then load it again from your hard drive. You must have accidentally hit the box. https://www.facebook.com/groups/195567190503489/permalink/636835643043306/
  10. You have the right thing selected. I see no reason why this shouldn't work. What happens when you press the Play button?
  11. Oh crap! https://www.damiensymonds.net/art_tscs000.html
  12. Cmd Shift 3, I think? Just 3, not F3. But you'd better google it, in case I'm giving you false info.
  13. Hi @NikkiD2, I'm sorry to hear that. This usually happens because you're clicking on the name of the action set. You have to open the set and select the name of the action inside it, then it'll play. Of course, I'll be able to help you further if you show me a screenshot.
  14. May I remind you, @SWhit, that everything you thought you couldn't do so far you've done amazingly well. All you have to do is try.
  15. May I see the whole screenshot? So I can see your crop tool settings?
  16. Right! Good. So, in the Options Bar at the bottom of the screen, you type "4in" in the Width field, "6in" in the Height field, and "300" in the resolution field. Then crop your photo. When you commit the crop, it will shrink on screen. Now it's at exactly 6x4 size (at the 300 ppi that Frank asked for) ready for you to save as a jpeg and send to him.
  17. What? Of course you have to choose a size! It's printing!
  18. Yep, perfect. Now, what size are you going to print it?
  19. Holy crap! NO! NEVER open a PSD in ACR. Just in Photoshop, please.
  20. Hi Kate, it's very easy. To help me assist, could you open one of your photos in PS, then choose your Crop Tool, then show me a screenshot of your whole screen? And yes, Frank is great.
  21. It's not complicated, I promise. If you know where the B key is on your keyboard, and you know how to click with your mouse, that's all you need. More importantly, trust that you can't do any harm. Just try it. That's how to learn.
  22. In Photoshop, of course. Not in raw.
