  1. Well, what quality level are you choosing when you save the jpeg? It looks like you're choosing a REALLY low level.

  3. Oh gosh, I wish I could tell you! I've never found a "formula" for it. Just play around.
  4. Or something like this? https://max.mailbigfile.com/84304172b14f2d4dabfaf4b6c06a98c4/listFiles.php
  5. Did you examine the old man file on this page?
  6. Definitely NONE of my classes. I teach how to edit PROPERLY.
  7. Well, doesn't it just seem that the "box" which your website has allocated for a logo is too small? You need to ask the designer to make that box bigger.
  8. That's unfortunate, but not the end of the world. I think this must be a website issue? I'm sure the logo in Photoshop is bigger than on the website?
  9. Who created the logo, and what file formats do you have it in?
  10. Yeah, the "Automatic" setting is a dog. Make sure you change it. Maybe it was this? https://www.facebook.com/groups/askdamien/posts/3170551753005003/ Much more detailed info in the Layers & Masks Class of course.
  11. Gosh no. It's a throwback to the Spyder Express, or even the awful ColorMunki Smile. There's a reason those were discontinued.
  12. I don't think you can install PS and Bridge without installing Creative Cloud first.
  13. This black screen thing is the key to it: Add a Levels adjustment layer, then choose the little black eyedropper in the levels panel, and click on that screen to force it to be black. (This will make the whole photo crazy black) Then invert the mask. Then use a big 10% white brush to broadly paint over the hazy area, to apply a gentle amount of the blackness that you need.
  14. @Samantha Vivenzio have you tried soft-proofing yet? What did you discover?
  15. lol, no, the one without the light stand is BIGGER. Never crop AT ALL. Period. https://www.damiensymonds.net/2011/09/cropping-tutorial.html
