Exactly what it says. It cleans up your computer. It's AMAZING. And it's rock-solid reliable. I've used it for years, on dozens and dozens of computers, and it's never messed anything up.

Oh, that's annoying. Once you change it once, it should stick. But as with any default setting in PS, make sure you only have one photo open at the time. If you have multiple photos open, then save one of them, the change to Standard might not stick. That's the only thing I can think of, sorry.
