What's not working? The screen itself? Or the Spyder? Well, you should loosely adjust the brightness so that it's a close match to your prints.

I think the first one would be better. Some of the photos are too pale in the second one. I think it would be done with Channel Mixer. Go ahead and do the normal editing first.

If you go to the "Color Management" control panel, you should be able to remove the Spyder profile there. Let me know if you have any trouble.
