  1. @Michelle G, please come back! I need the above information to continue to help you quickly.
  2. Also, you sent me the wrong logo file. The one in your layout has "Motus Ninjas" together in one line, not two lines.
  3. Also, the dark part of the logo file you sent me looks like it's black at first glance, but in actual fact it's not black but very dark grey. Is it supposed to be black?
  4. You gave me these dimensions, but the file in your screenshots is definitely not that shape. Please can you give me the correct dimensions pronto?
  5. Oh wonderful! Could you send me that font also?
  6. Holy moley, that's a really small file, isn't it? Ok, give me 20 minutes, and I'll see what I can do. Oh by the way, do you happen to know what the "NINJAS" font is?
  7. Darn it! That's bad news. Ok, let's see what we can salvage from this situation. I need you to send me all the logo files you were provided. So I can have a look and see what can be done with them. Send them via https://spaces.hightail.com/uplink/BellePhotography And please check again, to see if they sent you anything else apart from PNG files. Ideally we want PDF, AI or EPS.
  8. Sorry, I asked that question badly. What file format did you receive the logo in?
  9. I mean, is it a PDF file, or an EPS, or something else?
  10. Oh darn. Yeah, this isn't going to work, sorry. You really have to make this in InDesign or Illustrator.
  11. Oh, sorry, may I have your layers panel included in the screenshot?
  12. In order to help further, I really need to see your design.
  13. Your mistake was to send DNG files. Of course DNG files can't be deep-etched, so that's why they had to save them as jpegs. They did the right thing.
  14. Well, it's a heck of a complex program. Please feel free to ask me questions as often as you need.
  15. Have you watched this one? https://www.damiensymonds.net/cmyk-pdf-video
  16. You MUST start in sRGB. You can convert from there to anything else. You can't convert from CMYK.
  17. Ok, so you should be able to send them your sRGB file?
  18. I know what I'd call it ...
  19. Yes, as long as you have trees, like the Peavey photos do.
  20. Yeah, I'm sure we can manage it. Your job is to take similar photos. That is, with dark backgrounds.
  21. Hi @JenDaniele, it either is or it isn't. You should definitely try it. You can't do any harm to your computer by trying. The worst that can happen is it just won't work.
  22. This IS where I'm giving you one on one help. I just needed you to confirm you'd read that article, that's all. So, have you talked to the printer to find out the exact CMYK profile to use?
