  1. Yeah, that's a good point. Acrylic (with increased saturation) will look amazing, colour-wise. ... but it would be pretty unforgiving, quality-wise.
  2. How about choosing canvas? That would be a bit more forgiving.
  3. Oh, wonderful. Ok, go ahead and do your raw editing on these photos, then post them again for me.
  4. Wishing you and your family peace and healing, @Melissalile. And don't forget I'm eager to see your photos when you're ready.
  5. To avoid any glare sneaking in under the calibrator and ruining the readings.
  6. Yep. So go ahead and calibrate again, with a lower brightness target. If it was 100 last time, try 90 this time.
  7. Hi @StudioPopJess, yes, I think I can help you with those. Did you shoot raw?
  8. How far through the class are you so far, @SnapbeanPhotography?
  9. I've never encountered this issue before, but I reckon you've found its source.
  10. Well ... yes, I assume so. Don't you think so?
  11. Immediately, do you mean? "Save As PSD" then immediately "Save as Jpeg"?
  12. Hang on, I'm confused again. You open from ACR into Photoshop, edit, then save as a PSD, yes?
  13. Ok. And how did you save the jpegs, exactly?
  14. Ok, thanks. What about the PSD files? Are they dated correctly?
  15. So the dates on the raw files are still correct? It's the dates on the jpegs that are wrong?
  16. Yes, that's what I meant. But gosh, that sounds weird, doesn't it? Is there something wrong with the date setting on your camera?
  17. CS6 will run fine on Windows 10, don't worry.
  18. I hope you will consider taking the new Bridge Class. It's only ten dollars, and packed full of useful info.
  19. You will need to re-take the Levels Class in order to learn how it's done in Elements. It's only $14 to do so. No no no no no. No FastStone. Bridge is now free for everyone to use, not just Photoshop peeps. So you'll still use Bridge.
  20. These look good, but the only thing that truly matters is the print comparison. How is it? I've never bothered, but you're welcome to.
  21. Just go to Preferences>Performance, and uncheck the "Use Graphics Processor" box.
