  1. I assume you're wedded to Macs, but just in case you're not, I highly recommend the Asus Republic of Gamers line of laptops.
  2. Glad to hear your update. I would definitely explore a new lab before diving in to a new calibrator. I've no reason to think there's anything wrong with your Spyder5.
  3. I'd anticipated that you'd paint it on a bit heavier than that. But yes, definitely an improvement. You haven't cropped your PSD, have you?
  4. No, the exact same area of hair. Please note that I said "Background layer" not "background".
  5. The same way that I showed you on another photo, I think. Duplicate a chunk of the Background layer, set it to "Multiply" mode, nudge it down a bit, then mask it on gently.
  6. @candyK, calibration questions here please.
  7. Then conversion DEFINITELY won't help. I really need to see that screenshot.
  8. No, if you have CC, conversion shouldn't be necessary. What file format are the photos?

  10. Yeah, you removed too much for sure. It's really only the lower circle that needed to go. Download PSD
  11. Holy crap! No, that's awful. You have to leave SOME shape there!

  13. I'm pretty sure Brian would tell you that your hard drive is just too small to have sufficient capacity to run the CC suite well
  14. It sounds like it's doing everything right. Are you following my instructions here? https://www.damiensymonds.net/cal_S5P_mac.html The "Target" of 120 is not important. What's important is the "Current" number. What does yours say?
  15. Then can you do it too? https://www.damiensymonds.net/thread1.html
  16. That means your monitor is too bright. Are you following the calibration instructions on my site?
  17. We still haven't discussed this. It's the dimly-lit elephant in the room. You MUST get better light in there.
