  1. Did you see this thread yesterday? https://www.facebook.com/groups/195567190503489/permalink/2131375090256013/
  2. The second link is starting with a warm photo. Do you have one? Do you have the "before" of the first link?
  3. Looks like the standard matte crap. Which of his photos in particular would you like to mimic?
  4. No, it's not right. Well done for noticing! Lots of people never notice. https://www.damiensymonds.net/art_tscs000.html
  5. I'm so sorry, the focus isn't good enough to keep these photos ?
  6. Right, I see. Well, noise is not the problem by itself. Noise can always be removed. The problem is the focus (or lack of it) that might remain when the noise is removed. So can you go ahead and remove the noise on one of them, then show me a 100% crop?
  7. No, but that's ok. Just checking. Am I correct to assume that your main concern is the hazy areas where the light from the window has affected some of the heads?
  8. Hi @karri.chaney, did you shoot raw?
  9. Happy new year, @cathm. How did the recalibration go?
  10. https://www.damiensymonds.net/2014/11/the-bldy-adjustment-brush.html
  11. So what did you decide? Will you change your lighting, or calibrate to a warmer setting?
  12. It's really important that you don't overcomplicate this. Don't try to categorise different "levels of warm". If your prints are warmer than your screen, there are two things to do about it: If you think the fault might be your lighting, see if you can change to cooler lighting. If you think the fault is not the lighting, calibrate the screen again to a warmer setting.
  13. Wonderful! Are you sure this is not the fault of your lighting? It's not too yellow in your room?
  14. Right. So that's your next step - recalibrating at lower screen brightness so that they match.
  15. Great. If we ignore the colours for a moment, can you tell me about the overall brightness of the photos? Does the brightness match between screen and prints?
  16. What I really wanted to check was that you're not holding the print close to the screen to compare. You're holding it out at the side, and turning your head?
  17. First, can you confirm that you have recently re-read these instructions?
  18. I think enough of the lashes of the near eye are in focus to make this a keeper if you need it.
  19. I certainly wouldn't do anything crazy like starting over. I'd just apply a bit of cooling or warming filter to the trees here and there, to make them look a bit more uniform.
