  1. Honestly, yes, I'd use a solid colour layer, then a D&B layer clipped to it to add a bit of shape.
  2. Too narrow, yes? Needs to be extended horizontally?
  3. Should the bottom right corner point be dragged downwards a bit? Where the wall meets the carpet doesn't look horizontal.
  4. Is it a bit wide? Do you need to extend it vertically?
  5. It'll be transparent once you turn off the Background layer
  6. Yes, that's right, perspective correction must always be done on a duplicate layer. https://www.damiensymonds.net/2014/03/distortion-or-perspective-correction.html
  7. Although not quite perfect, easily good enough to use. Go for it.
  8. Oh gee, I wish you'd asked my advice earlier. I would have recommended correcting the perspective as well as rotating, before starting all the cloning. Still, what you've done is freakin' amazing! Well done. Does it have to be brick? What's wrong with the shop window that's already there?
  9. The question will be, can you make your screen match ALL of them?
  10. Great! So reduce your screen brightness until they match.
  11. Are you viewing these prints in good bright window light?
  12. I wasn't surprised to see you say "he". This problem seems to arise from men much more often than women - I assume it's something to do with small penis size. Of course you're right, the resolution number is completely irrelevant. But educating idiots about this is really difficult. This is the best I have, and I realise it's feeble, and not targeted for this case. In short, what he needs to understand is that you can change the files to 300ppi for him if he insists on it, but the files he receives will be EXACTLY the same number of pixels, and therefore will be printable to EXACTLY the same size; and you will charge him a fee for making this pointless change. Or, you can just change them. It's simply a matter of opening the Image Size dialog, making sure the "Resample Image" box isn't checked, and changing the resolution to 300ppi. You can save this little process as an action, and run it through Image Processor.
  13. Well, try it again from the beginning. Make sure you flatten before cropping.
  14. I don't know, but it doesn't matter. We fixed the jagged problem, and your 0.2 looks great. Go with it.
  15. I equally assure you, it doesn't make much more than a week or so to get used to a correct screen, and you'll wonder how you ever tolerated it so darn bright and blue before.
  16. Mine definitely didn't look like that at 0.2. May I see the nonsharpened version?
