Oh, that looks about equal to me.
I'm sure you agree that this focus isn't perfect. However, it's good enough to use, just. But it will need exactly the right sharpening.
So for heaven's sake don't try to print it until you've taken the Sharpening Class.

Can you tell me, if you re-open the images into Photoshop again, do they look ok there?
Ok, good. I mean, not good, but it gives us more clues.
Something is clearly going awry with the profile. Can you go to the Spyder's preferences and try V4, if you've presently been using V2?
Can you check something for me? In Photoshop, go to Edit>Assign Profile, and assign the monitor profile (instead of sRGB) to your image.
Does that make the problem worse, better, about the same, or just a different shade of awful?
