  1. @Daniwright11?
  2. No, a different example. A different linked photo, that you'd like to mimic.
  3. How much space did it have at the time the problem occurred? 72.3 is a good deal less than the 1/3rd free space that @Brian recommends for your hard drive. I urge you to make it a regular thing - at least once a month, if not more. Card readers are dirt cheap, I urge you to get one pronto.
  4. https://www.damiensymonds.net/training.html I already told you ...
  5. Please PLEASE don't wait any longer to take the raw class. I can help you make your photos SO much better, you'll be blown away.
  6. Assuming that you do know how to use clipping masks, I've made the template for you. Download it here
  7. As a side note, but VERY important, I notice your images are untagged. This is dangerous, you must ALWAYS include the ICC profile when saving your images.
  8. Hi, are you familiar with working with clipping masks, for this kind of work?
  9. So maybe you should have ignored that part completely, and cloned from smoother areas?
  10. No. The sky is full of detail in the example photo. The hell they are.
  11. Yep, those are good solutions for now. Let me know what happens after calibration.
  12. Can I just check something ... you haven't actually cropped these images to 2000x680 pixels, have you? That would be CATASTROPHIC.
  13. No, I'm not asking for guesswork. I'm just commenting on what I can see. Is it more textured down there than in more trafficked parts of the room?
  14. You could if you like, but with the right use of gradients, it shouldn't be necessary. Download PSD
  15. Has this difficulty been caused by the fact that the carpet down in the corner of the original photo was unusually textured?
  16. May I see a 100% crop, of some good carpet and some "muddy" carpet?
  17. Gosh no! Cloning is not necessary. Just run the gradient right over it.
  18. I reckon you should extend the lighter coloured wall, and ignore the bit of shadowing.
  19. If you're not going to keep the corner of the room, there was no need to distort the photo at all.
