  2. Heck yeah, the CG line are awesome. Will you get to see it working?
  3. The 2722 is definitely worth the extra 40 quid, because it's 10-bit. That's really good for smoothness.
  4. Hi @Michael1 would you mind giving me links to the specs of each screen?
  5. Are your external hard drives proper USB-C ones, or are they running through USB-A adapters too?
  6. Possibly for the same reason? I really don't know, sorry.
  7. What? No, cancel that nonsense, and just copy them directly to your internal hard drive where they're supposed to be. If that still takes three hours, then you know the reader is the problem. But if it's faster, then you know the external hard drive is the problem.
  8. Yep, it's definitely something to do with the connections, either the card, or the externals, or both. I'm going to move this thread to Brian's area, because it's out of my league.
  9. Raw processing questions go in the Raw Class please.
  10. As far as I know it's these: https://ask.damiensymonds.net/topic/36351-i1studio-pc01/
  11. Although it's not quite perfect, it's easily good enough to use.
  12. The Patch Tool should take care of the ones on his face. I don't have any solution for the other ones, sorry.

  14. Okay, well, there's no technical difficulty to this job, it will just take AGES. Convert the Background layer to a Smart Object. Rotate to straighten: https://www.damiensymonds.net/2010/01/straightening-horizons.html Add a Solid Color layer of orange then drag it below the image layer. (It doesn't have to be orange, but I think that will provide the most contrast in this case.) Add a mask to the image layer, then zoom in and start painstakingly masking around the structure. Use your Shift key: https://www.damiensymonds.net/2010/10/shift-while-brushing.html Once the entire background is orange, turn off the orange layer so that the entire background is transparent. Save as a PSD (not PNG) ready to use in your design.
  15. My first question is, will it matter that it's cut off at the right-hand side?
  16. No, but if Bridge has forgotten how to read your monitor profile somehow, a new monitor profile might help. So yeah, go ahead and recal first.
  17. This happens to random people from time to time, and I don't know why. Did it coincide with a recent recalibration?
  18. This little button is where the fun lives:
  19. No, you said you created the text in Word. Oh, sorry, I misunderstood that. No, you can't create it as a separate file. You have to type it IN the photo file.
  20. You need to do the text in Photoshop, so that you can curve it. You'll find lots of tutorials out there about how to do curved text.
  21. Can you explain this? Why would it be curved for the plate?
  22. How about this layer, then reduce the layer opacity to your taste? https://max.mailbigfile.com/d68a585f91c40a69b2269ad74ebcdf96/listFiles.php
