  1. Are you talking about the line of shadow from her jaw?
  2. I don't understand the question. What's wrong with it?
  3. I got it, and yes, your email is definitely shrinking the photo. Bigpond is notorious for this.
  4. They're still PSD files, don't worry. See the file names? They say ".psd" at the end. So this is just a simple associations issue. Right-click on one of those files and choose "Open with > Choose another app". In the list that comes up, choose Photoshop, and check the box that says "Always use this app", before pressing OK.
  5. In that case, your email program is shrinking the photo. That's very common. So instead of emailing, ask the magazine if they have some kind of dropbox where you can submit the image. Actually, I could check this hypothesis for you. Could you email the photo to me? info@damiensymonds.net
  6. You never "bring files into Bridge". Bridge is a browser. Bridge just looks at your files wherever you saved them.
  7. Yes ... I'm sure if you zoom in that large in Photoshop it looks like that too?
  8. I'm so sorry Susie, I don't know of a way that doesn't involve masking around the words either.
  9. I don't think there's any difference. It's just how different brands have different words for things.
  10. Can you give me links to details of the two types of bulb?
  11. Hi @SVargas913, yes, turn off the "Automatic Brightness" and "True Tone" features. No, Color LCD is correct. Your calibrator will automatically change it later.
  12. No they haven't. It's probably just their thumbnail pictures. Can you show me a screenshot? Please make sure you do this first: https://www.damiensymonds.net/2012/02/view-your-filename-extensions-windows.html
  13. On both photos, add a Channel Mixer layer, go to the Green channel, and change from 0, +100, 0, 0 to +30, 0, +70, 0. Then on each photo, tweak that +70 number, while toggling the layer off and on to view the result, On the first photo I found I had to take it slightly down, on the second photo slightly up. Then mask.
  14. 5000 might be okay. It's certainly better to err too cool than too warm, if err you must.
  15. I'm talking tiny tiny percentages of difference. Your screen should damn near exactly match your prints. Follow my calibration instructions again please.
  16. Of course never look at your stupid home prints. Only the ProDPI prints. Have you recalibrated to make your screen match the ProDPI prints?
  17. I guess you'd have to copy good detail from higher up the box. It'll be darn tricky though.
  18. Bridge of course. https://www.damiensymonds.net/bridge-30-day-challenge/
  19. Great. Can you go ahead and do your raw processing on the photo (don't forget the noise removal) then post it again for me?
